Veldkornet Adam Johannes Bezuidenhout had an address of "Leeuwspruit, PK Excelsior" in June 1924. He was never taken PoW , so his year of birth cannot be established from the PoW Registers.
However, there was a Burger Adam Johannes Bezuidenhout, PoW No 7513, of the Moroka District, Thabanchu, who was 28 years old when he was captured at Fouriesburg on 30 July 1900 with Prinsloo's surrender. That could be your grandfather, but it would seem that he did not apply for an ABO medal
