ABO (Korpl. G.C. Dry). City Coins August 2014

Gert Dry served in the Rouxville Commando under Commandant (later General) Kritzinger. He was in action at Sannaspost (“Watenverken”) and Slabbert’s Nek, and served for the duration of the war. As such, he must have been present at the various engagements in the Cape Colony as detailed in Kritzinger’s book In the Shadow of Death.
