ABO (Burger J.A.C. Du Plessis). Kaplan Auctions November 2017

Confirmed on Vorm B Jacob Andries Cornelius du Plessis had died and the application was submitted by his wife. Fought at Maarsfontein, Rooiwal and Belmont.

Taken P.O.W. Fonteintjes 6/7/1901. A letter from the Archive shows that he fought with the Fouresmith KDO.

Medal issued 11 April 1953. Type 2 suspender and WW II naming.
