ABO (Burger G.A.J. du Plooy) City Coins August 2008

The Potchefstroom Commando besieged Mafeking. He subsequently fought at Twee Riviere (Modder River) and Magersfontein and was eventually taken PoW with General Cronje’s surrender at Paardeberg on 27 February 1900.

He was sent to St Helena.
