AVO (Veldkornet P. J. J. Geyer). City Coins November 2007

Petrus Geyer served under Commandant P. A. Froneman, who again resorted under Genl P A Cronje (until the latter’s surrender). Geyer’s daughter was awarded the medal in 1940: her claim for a DTD for her father was rejected because she could not obtain signatures of officers who had served with him.

Sold with copy of Vorm “B ” and DTD-related correspondence.
