Did Jacobus Pieter Theunis Barend Jonker receive a medal for the Boer War? If yes, what was this medal for and are there any records or photos of it?

Hello Nicolene. What you were looking at when you found his name in thus site is in fact the medal roll. Priof that he did apply for the Anglo Boere Oorlog Medalje.

I will PM you the name of a researcher in Pretoria who has copies of what is called Vorm B. This is the form used to apply for the medal and has lots of information on it.
