ABO (Burger P J J Jordaan). BidorBuy February 2018.

Fought in Dundee, Modderspruit, Colenso, Spionkop, Estcourt and in smaller skirmishes in the Orange Free State.

At the age of eighteen he was wounded in a battle at Colenso on 19 February 1900.

He was in Heidelberg Hospital from 23 February 1900 to March 1900. Captured by the British at Molspruit on 25 May 1901 and spent some time as a POW in Ladysmith and, possibly, Bermuda.
