ABO (Burger H Martin). City Coins Dec 2004.

Herman Martin served in the German Commando under Col. A. Shiel and General Kock from September 1899. He saw action at Elandslaagte where he was “badly hurt” and taken Prisoner. He was sent to St Helena where he remained as a POW until Sept. 1902.
