The recipient is Burger P.R. Minnaar, he applied for his ABO medal and LvW claiming service under General J.C Smuts, the award was approved on the 3rd March 1921.

The application for both awards was signed by General Liebenberg who was one of his commanding officers during his service, the other commanding officer was General Jan Smuts. I have attached his applications forms B & C, received with gratitude, from Dewald Nel. The spelling error in his initials and surname appears in the Forsythe Roll page 102
