General C H Olivier of the Orange Free State who was one of the signatories of the half of the OFS of the treaty of Vereeniging that brought the Anglo Boer War to its conclusion on 31 May 1902.

On Vorm A he is listed as General. Then somebody added with a blue pencil Komdt. The medal is impressed Komdt.
Vorm C : Wounded in Action….. deur linker arm

There is a photo of him on page 402 of the book “Die Helde /Album van ons Vryheids Stryd” by P.H.S. Van Zyl.

EF 80000 (£4300)

A email from Michael this morning sets a reduced reserve for this DTD from R80,000 to R8,000 (£423).

The first seemed very high but this reserve is surely far too low.
