ABO (Burger D.J. Pretorius). City Coins August 2014.

Daniel Pretorius served in the Waterberg Commando (Ward 4) and his service was in the Northern Transvaal (Pienaarsrivier, Warmbad, Sandrivierspoort) under Commandant van Staden and General Beyers.

This medal has a WWII type suspender and WWII type naming, which puts the issue date as post February 1942. Inspection of the Issue Register confirmed that this was the only medal in that category.
