ABO (Burger L.J. Rademeyer). Kaplan Auctions November 2017.

Confirmed on Vorm B. Served with Ermelo Kdo and Gen. Smuts. T

he application was made by his father S.H. Rademeyer as Louis had died in 1918. There is a report of Prisoners of War which shows his age as 10. Thus he must be one of the youngest prisoners of war and recipient of the ABO. Only males of European decent older than 16 years could technically receive this award.

Medal issued 9 Oct 1925. Type 1 suspender type 1 naming.
