ABO (Burger C.J. Roets). City Coins August 2008

On his application form Christoffel Roets of the Middelburg Commando mentioned service at only two actions viz. Dundee (Talana) and Bakenlaagte. He was captured at Vlakvarkfontein on 17 Dec 1901 (a day before his 61 year old father, also C.J. Roets was captured) and was sent to St Helena as PoW No. 27435.
