Pieter Jacobus Roos . Born 1850....from farm Fraaiuitzicht, Lindley near Reitz .... ABW....WOUNDED... (not sure where and when)....
was member of Bethlehem kommando.
He died shortly after Peace in 1902.
Please: which medals are these on the photo?
Did he receive his medals?
Any info will be appreciated.
Pieter was the brother of my grandfather Johannes Gysbertus Roos who fought with Pieter and was also wounded, this I know at Graspan Reitz .
Maybe PJROOS was also WOUNDED at Graspan, REITZ.
Thank you so much for a reply.
