Described as:

Copy of Vorm B shows that he served with the Krugersdorp Kommando. He served from December 1899 to Mei 1902. He fought at Spionkop, Ladysmith, Verteestroom, Nooitgedacht, Vlakfontein en no verle ander.

His medal was approved 1 Feb 1926. His are the only initials that match (See lot H013).

1939/45 Star; Africa Star 8th Army Bar; Italy Star; Defence; War and Africa Service medals. Copies of his service paper show that he attested 23/7/41 in the Engineers. He was reclassified as a plate layer Class ‘A’ 7/- pd. He spent most of his service with 38th Rly Constr Coy.
