Good Day
I found this topic pertaining to I S TerBlanche. He was my Grandfather on my maternal side and I am in possession of a 13 page typed manuscript documented by G J Visser during the war sketching the movements of I S TerBlanche during the war. Should this be of interest to anyone, I will make a copy available. The document is titled "DIE OORLOGSERVARINGS VAN MNR. I. S. TERBLANCHE GEDUURENDE DIE ANGLO-BOEREOORLOG SOOS OPGETEKEN DEUR J. G. VISSER.
(KOPIEREG VOORBEHOU)"

Alan,

Thank you for making contact.

I'm sure many people would be very interested in the manuscript. I would be pleased to add it to the site if that was acceptable to you?

Is there an English translation available?

Best wishes
David

Hi David,
Thanks for responding. I do not have a translated copy of the document in English, but a high resolution scan of the original document which is a 9Mb .pdf document. This Afrikaans is not exactly as we know it today because it was typed 30 years before Afrikaans was declared an official language in 1933. I do however have a modern Afrikaans translation in .pdf which is a small document and easier to read. Please advise which document you would prefer, alternatively we could include both.
