He served with the Potcherfstroom Kommando. He served from Oktober 1899 until he was killed at Magersfontein. He served under Gen Cronje and V.K.Van Graan He served at Mafeking Twee Riviere en Magersfontein. The application is counter signed by D.J.Van Graan V.K. Dr David Biggins
