Hello all
Recently acquired the ABO to 4291 Veldkornet Ockert Johannes van Heerden a burger residing in the Dordrecht district Eastern Cape Province.The medal roll shows ABO medal approved but DTD not approved...........any suggestions why ?? Being a Cape rebel any assistance to find the Vorm B will be appreciated.
Can Henk cast any light on this VK, what Kommando etc and what happened to him ??

I was away for more than 3 weeks in Namibia and slowly catching up on internet matters.
OJvH's file is one of the very few to officers that I have not yet accessed and copied.
Nowhere in the Forsyth Roll is refusal of a DTD noted. My gut-feeling is that Van Heerden did not apply for a DTD.
