Described as: Copy of Vorm “B” shows that Jan Andries Venter fought with the Bloemfontein Kdo. Fought from 2 October 1899 to March 1902. “In Maart 1902 is ek krygsgevangene geneem in Fourie Smith Dis OVS en is India gestuur”. He fought at Magersfontein; Paardeberg’ Abrams Kraal; Koning Spruit/ Mastershoek; Swartberg’ Dewets Dorp. With a copied photo of him in Bellary Kamp India. Please note he never applied for a DTD.
