ABO (Burger H.S. Wolvaardt). City Coins August 2008

Served the Gatsrand Ward of the Potchefstroom Commando. Among his earlier actions were Magersfontein and Koedoesberg. From 4-15 Aug 1900 he was part of the forces besieging the Australians and Rhodesians at Elands River Post.

He was also present at the defeat and capture of Lt Gen Lord Methuen at Tweebosch (6 March 1902).
