No woman looms larger in the Boer War than Emily Hobhouse who is rightly celebrated in South Africa,

I have started to add her book Brunt of the war and where it fell to the site.

www.angloboerwar.com/books/254-hobhouse-...ar-and-where-it-fell

The work to add the text is quite slow as there are many references to include within the text but it is certainly a powerful book and an important addition to the site.

In the PDF version I am working from, pages 42 and 43 are missing. Perhaps the person scanning the document turned over one page too many?

If anyone can send me images of these two pages, I can add them in to chapter 1.

Thank you
David

Strangely, archive.org has two versions - one lacks the pages, and one is intact.
Try

The past is not dead. In fact, it's not even past.

Thank you for checking, Rob. I will look at that version.

It will be useful because there is a corrupt text in chapter 2 which I have added this morning.
