BARRENGARRY.
Thursday.
Trooper A. WATSON, of Barrengarry, who was among the returned soldiers from South Africa, was entertained at the National Hall last night. The attendance was large. He was presented with a gold pendant, suitably inscribed. Mr Joyce occupied the chair, and made the presentation on behalf of the residents. Trooper WATSON said that the treatment received at the front was all that he expected under the circumstances.
