ELORA RECEPTION.
Elora, Jan. 16.
A reception in honour of the boys of Elora and vicinity, who were in South Africa, was held at the armoury hall last evening. The building was packed to the doors and a large number were turned away. The veterans present were Lieut. CAMPBELL, Sergt. WELLS, Trooper BRYANS and Privates BARRETT and WALSH. The last three enlisted in Manitoba. Lieut. CAMPBELL was made the recipient from the citizens of a sword and cross-belt; Sergt. WELLS, a gold watch and chain; and Trooper BRYANS and Private BARRETT each received a locket and chain. Pte. WALSH was also remembered.
