THE SECOND CONTINGENT.
THE WESTRALIAN UNIT.
There was a large assemblage of the staff of the Fremantle and Whitby Falls Asylums at Fremantle on Jan. 25 at a “send-off” tendered to Private William HARRINGTON, who has been connected with both institutions for some years, and who is leaving with the Western Australian unit. Dr Hope presided, and on behalf of the staff presented Private HARRINGTON with a gold medal. Some songs were rendered during the evening.
