PRESENTATION AT GRANGETOWN.

At a well-attended smoker, held in the Grangetown Hotel, last night, Mr T. REED was the recipient of a handsome gold albert, gold pendant, and a purse of gold, subscribed for by the employees of the Grangetown and Station Hotels and friends. REED leaves Eston Grange today for Southampton, where he will sail for South Africa to join Baden-Powell’s Mounted Police. A pleasant evening was spent, and the musical part of the programme was ably sustained by the Kay Quartet Party, Messrs A. Norrie, Hugh Kay, and Gavin Kay (the accompanist).
