…… Lieutenant GILMOUR, in acknowledging the address said that the approval of his actions in the field at a critical time by his superior officers meant a very great deal to him and those gallant men whom he had the honour to lead. (Cheers). Another address was presented by the huntsmen of the Fife Foxhounds, and Captain and Lieutenant GILMOUR were decorated with gold badges of membership of the Lundin Golf Club by Mr P.L. Henderson, Edinburgh.

FROM THE GOLF CLUB.
Mr P.L. Henderson, captain of the Lundin Golf Club, presented, on behalf of the club, each of the young officers with a gold badge of membership. He mentioned they had done themselves the honour of electing Captain GILMOUR as their captain for the ensuing year. (Cheers).
Captain GILMOUR and Lieut. GILMOUR suitably replied, the latter remarking that the last time he played in a Lundin competition two years ago he won it with a hole to spare. (Applause).
