FAREWELLS TO CONTINGENT MEMBERS.
Mr Geo. TAYLOR, one of the three local representatives selected to accompany the second Victorian contingent, was tendered a farewell at the Council Club Hotel, Preston, last evening, by his employer (Mr T. Broadhurst) and fellow employees. Mr T. Broadhurst presided, and presented Private TAYLOR with a gold medal, suitably inscribed.
