A welcome home was tendered to Trooper Wm. MACKLEY, of the Fifth Contingent, on Wednesday evening, at the Town Hal by the members of the Pembroke Club. During the evening a presentation of a handsome gold medal was made to the returned soldier by his old comrades.

The Pembroke club held a social on Wednesday evening In the South Melbourne town hall to honour the return of Trooper William MACKLEY, who had served with the Fifth Victorian Contingent, and make him the recipient of a handsome gold medal, suitably inscribed.
