Hi
Just to say regarding the index to known QSA Medals to exist to the King's Shropshire L.I., either in collections-museums-or private hands I have now found and indexed 396 QSA'S
this does not include any other medals accompanying, I have only focused on QSA'S.
all the best PHILIP

I was browsing on old auction list last night - as one does - (the Lovell Collection of the late Charles Lovell, M.B.E., Nov, 1978) and I spotted some KSLI chaps you might not have on your index:
1) QSA one clasp CC and a Hong Kong Plague 1894 to Pt.e W.Langley
2) QSA clasps CC/Paar/Dreif/Joh, KSA two bars to Pte. J.Barry
3) QSA clasps CC/OFS/Tv to Lt. J.H.Payne and BWM/VM to Capt. J.H.Payne
4) QSA clasps CC/Paar/Dreif/Tv, KSA usual bars to Lt. R.P.Miles, 14 Star, BWM, VM to Captain R.P.Miles (Died of wounds, 30/12/14.
I suppose it is possible you already know about them; if not at least you know that they are "out there".
regards
IL.

Thanks for letting me know about these lots, the only one I have not on the index is Lieut. Payne, as for the others they are known, but thanks for thinking about them, and letting me know, I am sure there are many more which are still to be indexed.
all the very best for Christmas and a good new year.

Philip,

If I give you permissions to edit the SLI page on my site, would you like to maintain the information there?

Best wishes

Philip,

I have set this up as a trial. I have not done this before but this would be a useful model for the future.

When you are logged in, if you go to this page: angloboerwar.com/unit-information/imperi...try?showall=&start=2

You should see a cog icon top right. if you click this, you should see the option to edit the page.

To learn more about editing an article: docs.joomla.org/J2.5:Hands-on_editing_an_article

Don't forget to save the page after you have edited it.

Please give it a go and see if that works.

If other senior site users want to do the same for 'your' units. please let me know.

Best wishes
David
