Afternoon all,

I was wondering whether anybody perhaps had any information on the recipient of this group or will it be a case of getting a researcher in SA to pull his file?

Group of 4: QSA "Natal", KSA "SA 01/02", Natal Rebellion "1906" and Permanent Forces of the Empire Beyond the Seas LSGC (Geo V) to E.S. Tobbit. Natal Police on first three and 2nd SAMR on the LSGC.

Many thanks,

Neil

Thanks for the info, much appreciated!

So if he only attested in 1900 and the LSGC had an eighteen year qualification period would it be fair to expect a First War entitlement?

It is possible that he might have served in WW1.

I have a similar group to a chap that has 5 SAMR on his Star for service in GSWA and then he went to France with the 1st SAI.
