David

Here is one from my paper collection, must apologise about photo taken with cellphone, purchased a number of years ago. Well worn and appears to have been carried in a wallet for years and years as a possible keepsake?

Regards
Brian

Morning Brian,

Thank you for this photo. It looks like the note has been much cherished by its previous owners as I guess it is now?

Best wishes
David

Yes, cherished is the right word. I surpose if you really want one they are to be found BUT no longer "pop up" at local dealers like they did 10 to 20 odd years back. Sign of the times, at the time I think the dealer was only to happy to rid himself of this dirty bit of paper, on the other hand I was too happy to relieve him of it.

Not sure what they are worth these days but I'm sure I can get more than I paid for it :) Not that it is going anywhere soon!

Regards

Gentlemen,
It is a very good tangible relic of the actual seige, it was actually there, at the time, not just visionary!

Mike,
They used to turn up here all the time, but, now this is no longer the case! :(
