Thank you for your kind comments, which are much appreciated.

I have heard about swabs and other things being left inside patients. In my case it seems to be bits of cottonwool in the brain. I hope there is a cure for that combination.

Thank you for the positive suggestion about my treatment. I have been to the 'follow-up visit' at the hospital and the doctor told me that, although I am old and a bit broken, I am still alive. I am reassured.
