Thanks David,

I secured the two S.Lancs casualties; I had Worrall's in my collection many years ago so it was "must have"! The one to 3508 Pte R Pennington was another "must have" as you may be aware, he served with "D" company on Spion Kop !

All I need now is the QSA to Sgt William Wheatley who was killed on 27 Feb 1900 to make my year.

David,

I had wondered about the McIntosh medal myself. Do you have anything on her?

Mark,

Sadly very little but she is sitting on my desk this morning.

The roll (WO100/229p295) is for Maid Maud McIntosh of 2 Eglinton Road, Woolwich. Issued 09 (not sure if that is 1909?). She was attached to Army Nursing Services.

The roll is dated August 1901 at No 3 General Hospital, Kroonstad.

The note says 'Resigned appointment and proceeded to England.'
