If the medal collectors out there can’t find a single or group in my opinion they are very hard to please.

Some most unusual lots at the start of this particular sale.

They include some diverse lots and it reminds me of the space theme in the last auction, Frank.

Hi all,

Spink’s is underway. I had a go at lot 363 last night and was soundly beaten. It was a QSA (RoM, Rhod.) and WW1 trio. My guess is that it is a ‘must have’ or someone knows something about him, eg, Eland’s River participant etc.
Plenty of other QSA’s to have another shot at tonight before it gets too late.
Keep well,
Jim

Jim,

There were some strong prices achieved yesterday, I thought. These were balanced by some groups that went more cheaply that I would have expected eg the civil surgeon / Captain SAC pair.

There were some odd jumps in bids that I still don't fully understand eg

Some interesting lots today so we will see how they go.
