Can I ask an opinion please?
I have picked ups a QSA medal, the soldiers name and rest are upside down, so correct way to read soldiers details is to have Britannia uppermost, medal looks genuine as do the clasps. is this a known style?? my knowledge does not stretch that far!
The medal is named to the 10th Coy Imperial Yeomanry.
Any replies would be welcome.

Hello Jack.....

Did not want to say Hi Jack...... ;)

I have seen a few of these and I just think that it may have been an error on the part of the engraver working that day......

Thanks mike, my other challenge is that I can't find any details of him on FMP.
His name is DA Ford and has a number 19. He is also a Cy Sgt Mjr. 10 COMPy IMP YEO.
I have looked on Nat archives, not sure if I have searched the correct Yeomanry though.
Any advice please?

Hello JackTT
Do you have any more details on your man D A Ford?

Regimental number 19 Imperial Yeomanry belongs to Trooper David Steven Rawlings
1st Company Wiltshire Imperial Yeomanry.
Are you certain it is the 10th Company ?
Any extra details you may have would be most welcomed.

Regards

Dave.......
You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.
Best regards,
Dave
