Just an update, I have reviewed FMP newspapers and found a number of references to Sgt. Mjr DA Ford ranging from 1900-1903, think there are a few more but have not downloaded.These include regimental dinners and muster details.

Here is the only Ford in the 12th Lancers that I have listed in my Cavalry List......

Ford, T.C., 3258, Private, 12th Lancers, Cape Colony. Discharged, Medically unfit

Thanks Mike, looks like this guy D A Ford 3027 was still in service after his discharge date in 1899 on service record, wonder if he re-signed??
Still does not cover the QSA and clasps though!!
