Sorry to bother, as I commented in other posts, I'm doing a genealogical investigation about Henry Theirs, the father of my Great-Grand Mother.
I was trying to find a picture of him, when I came up with this interesting bibliography reference, about one of the companies in which he served:

Charles Kater Drury Sidgwick, 2nd Cheshire Royal Engineers Railway Volunteers: photographs, mainly captioned, taken during the Boer War depicting armed and armoured trains, engineering sheds and buildings in Pretoria, damaged trains and bridges 1901-02 (MSS. Afr. s. 2464)

I was wondering If someone knows it, or have access to the pictures depicted on it. If so, please contact me.

A quick look on the web shows this is housed at Bodleian Library of Commonwealth and African Studies at Rhodes House Library in Oxford. Address: Rhodes House, South Parks Road, Oxford OX1 3RG Phone: 01865 270908
Generally these things are not yet digitised, though I may be wrong; if not digitisd, you have to go in person and likely have to pay for a copy of a photo.
There are professional researchers who'll do this for a fee.
If a member of the forum lives in Oxford and has time on their hands, they may be able to assist.

This has an accession number for the Bodleian Library, Oxford University (Commonwealth and African Studies, Rhodes House).

As the item appears to be an album of original photographs, it might be worth contacting the Bodleian, to see if it is possible for you to view the item in person.
