Here are a few pictures I took toady of Med Cpl GW Muntons jacket and a couple of photographs.













George is second from right 1st row on semi formal pic



and 1st right on troop relaxing pic.






I don't know if anyone recognises any other people in the pictures?

Hello Janbeno.....

The first group picture is a picture of the South African Constabulary..... To bad it is in Balck and White..... LOL.... Because you could tell the division by the colour of the feathers in the caps as to which one he served in.......

It's a pity colour photography wasn't about then..lol

Just added another troop pic, it was a wee bit too large for my scanner, but George is 2nd left 1st seated row.

By the headress this is also South African Constabulary.....

Gentlemen,
If memory serves the division was denoted by the colour of the leather rosette worn behind the slouch hat badge, this one is that of the Transvaal Constabulary.

Hi Frank.....

"A" Division (Western Transvaal) - White
"B" Division (Northern Transvaal) - Light Green
"C" Division (Eastern Transvaal) - Light Blue
"E" Division (Orange River Colony)- Deep Yellow
Headquarters Division - Red

Could Yours be Yellow?????
