Subject: Re-issue of King's Medal, after being considered ineligible

Case of Major G D Gray. late South African Constabulary, from whom the medal was withdrawn 5/5/08 on the ground that service with the ORC Municipal Police is non-qualifying for the grant of the King's Meal. The ORCMP was subsequently amalgamated witht he SAC and Major Gray's application was ante-dated in order to regulate his position on the list of officers.

Case reconsidered 10/12 and medal re-issued.
