Good Afternoon Everyone:

I was contacted by a member and asked about Stereopticon or Stereo Slides and who published them and if there was a register of titles...... I had to say that I did not know of any list maybe another member has one.....

I am attaching some photos and a list of a set and odd slides that I have and maybe it will help him......

The Underwood slides came in a couple of sets, the one photographed and one that looks like a pair of books on a shelf.......

One thing that has been explained to me is that the first Underwood published set were numbered and a description on the slide was on the reverse in English, French, German, Spanish, Danish and Russian.

I was in an antique shop a couple of Saturdays ago, and there were about 40 of these stereo slides, Underwood & Underwood. The asking price was £30. Does that sound like a good deal? They were all in very good condition.

Hi Bernice if it was me I would have grabbed / snapped them up at a price of less than a pound each even if there were a few that were damaged it would have still been a good buy..... Take a look at first post in this thread for a list..... Mike
