Hello to everyone. I'm new to the site.
I have been researching my great great grandfather and had quite a bit of luck really. But I have hit a brick wall. I am trying to find his death certificate. I no has little to do with this as he died 1915-16. But he served with the Middlesex regiment 2nt battalion in the boar war.
He was given the distinguished conduct medal in 1898 but I can't find out what for. I have his military records and the medal paperwork for some that he got but I cannot read all the writing on them. I also havnt found his mention in Kitchener's dispatches that I no was place.
If anyone would like to give me a hand please let me know.
Sorry for the essay and lack of info ATM but I havnt got my notebook with me seen as its nearly 1am. Just found the site and thought why not give it a try.
