Thank you Neville for rustling up such good images of Haldane and Le Mesurier, and the escape route map! Also for the great scan of the Operations Map from Feb 14th to the 28th. That will get used with all credit due.

This is the best copy I have of the Operations map from January 11th to Feb 9th. I think it is a fold out map in the book. This one is almost good enough to use and I can stitch it together but your scans are really first rate. One can almost read 'Acton Homes" on mine but compared to your work it's two levels or more down.

Longmans, Green & Co. really outdid themselves with this map. So cool to see all the features discussed in so many accounts of Buller's operations. No other map comes close to giving a real feel for the territory. And the whole area of operations is only twelve miles wide and 8 high!

How can we get these two maps and maybe the Haldane Maps uploaded to the Map section of this forum?
