Hi,
Just an update on the French Connection.
James Lawn died 1939 in Paris age 76.. Buried in a Vault.
Herbert Georges Lawn died 1919 in Paris age 52..
I have found the death certificate for both. They lived within 1/2 mile of each other.
I try to imagine what it was like living and working in Paris at the turn of the century.
Just Thomas William Lawn to find now from 1901 onwards at Cheveley Stud. No record of him in Paris.
The original 2 photos I posted may have been sent to my Grandfather by a friend but still looking into that.
Once again, many thanks and kind regards,
Dave Lawn

Hi Dave
Many thanks for the update, much appreciated.
With reference to Thomas William Lawn? Is there anyone in your family history called William Edward Lawn.?

Dave F.......
You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.
Best regards,
Dave

Hi,
Not in my family branch, which is Fritton - Somerleyton - Burgh Castle - Belton - Yarmouth - Gorleston - Sotherton - Lowestoft, back to 1688.
If you have any queries in those districts I'd be more than happy to help.

Regards,
Dave L
