The owner did not say he had the presentation plaque which I suspect was separated from the medals some time ago.

I purchased the plaque to 7367 Lance-Corporal Fred Heaysman in the mid 80s. It turned up at Bermondsey Market in the days when good items could still be found there. Sadly, the medals had already been separated from the plaque.
Heaysman was a carpenter from 26 Albion Rd, Reigate, and served with the 1st Volunteer Active Service Company from 12-02-1900 to 25-05-1901.

Checked the 1st and 2nd Volunteer Active Service Companies, Queen's Royal West Surrey Regiment and C.I.V. medals in my collection and of course none of the names match so I guess I will have to look for one to go with my plaque......

I was very lucky in that the stall holder had kept Heaysman's details with the tribute. I have now written these on the bare wood under the removable metal plaque, making sure that this connection is never lost.

Good Morning Everyone...…

Here is another one where the silver has been all polished off...… The good thing is it is still in the original frame and has the bottom name plate.....
