A friend/dealer has this superb medal on his table at Sunday's Wakefield medal fair.
In mint condition with the original case, which I would imagine is quite rare.
Not sure if he sold it on the day, I left at 11.00 so still a few hours trading to go.
Apologies for the poor photos as they were taken with my mobile.

They are in great condition, Paul. They must have been well looked after over the years.

The CIV must be one of the units for which there are the most commemorative items?

Hi Paul.....

Very few made of this medallion, one for each on the members of the CIV plus about a dozen for donors to outfit the regiment..... The big thing is the case is hard to find in good condition..... According to Hibbard and report to guild hall there were 450 made.....

Hi there, I have just inherited one of these medals from my Aunt, I have no idea where or how she got it. It is a silver one but does not come in a display box. Any information about it would be well received and would you recommend that it be insured.
