A nice example of a Kimberley Medal from the next DNW sale.

I have seen this ribbon before but no one is sure what ribbon was intended for the medal.

The Kimberley Medal sold for a hammer price of £2,200 yesterday, That must be a record price for such a medal.

City Coins in sale 70 sold a Kimberley Medal with an unusual serrated edge. Lot 29 sold for R24,200 or a total of R28,300 or £1,500. Presuming this is the same medal, it is on sale with Liverpool Medals this morning at £2,295.00.
