QSA (3) Natal, Relief of Ladysmith, Transvaal; (MR. R. PAUL. IMP. MIL. RLY.)

The LMC write-up is not wholly correct: Awarded to a civilian railway engine driver Mr. R. Paul, Imperial Military Railways who saw service during the Boer War on operations in Natal during the operations that last until 11th June 1900, the Siege of Ladysmith that lasted until 28th February 1900 and then in the operations in Transvaal. He died on 25th January 1902.

WO100/252p253 appears to show Natal changed to a RoL. I cannot imagine the medal was made up with these clasps.
