A couple of pages of the Imp Yeo records came with the medal.

Interested to see their pay: 8 shillings a day, rising to 9 shillings after 3 months, and an extra 1 shilling for each NCO stripe.
Can I enquire: were the regular infantry still on a shilling a day in 1900?
