The first set of rivets look fine to me. The second set is understandably different. It could well be that the medal has been thoroughly cleaned recently to give it that appearance.

One notable feature of the copy clasps is that the loops protruding from the top of the clasp are thinner than usual, not features your clasps exhibit.
