An excellent QSA and to Squadron QMS too.

Those clasps look like they are very new?

Clasps verified on WO100/260p28 and p37.

Listed in N.M.R. history as Sgt A.F.Turner. Special leave (sick), this explains the lack of the Laings Nek clasp, he was obviously ill after the siege and took a while to recover. Good rank and medal nevertheless.

Thanks David and John

In order to address the clasp question I append below a series of photos of another Elandslaagte QSA I have (to the NFA) as well as several of the Turner medal.

I would really appreciate input as to any possible problems you see with the Turner one.

Regards

Rory

Thanks Rob - I'll bring Turner to the table stark naked but the NFA man will be a problem as he is part of an ensemble...

There is, however, no debate as to the authenticity of his clasps - Turner is the man who needs closer inspection. I'll take some more photos over the weekend and post them.

Regards

Rory
